Oils can be powefully used in magick, spellcraft, Wicca, and Pagan ritual. Scent is one of our strongest senses and ties very closely to our emotions/feelings and memories. Scented oils also have inherent metaphysical properties, relating to certain elements, planets, and astrological signs. Oils themselves are directly related to the fire element, and the salamander. Oils used magickally in a bath, in a sachet, on a candle, burned as incense, or worn on the person may help to change the way we think and feel, thus changing the course of our lives.
