by Cornelius Rumstuckle (A book for younger readers)
Are YOU Wizard-Worthy?
This is NOT a storybook! This is the real deal: twenty-two lessons in the art of magic, taught by a practicing Wizard.
• Make and use a magic wand
• Find your Wizard name
• Build your own Wizard's Castle
• See your future with the Wizard's Oracle
• Switch on your Wizard's Power
• Activate the Wizard's Art of Memory
• Call on the greatest Wizard of all time: Merlin himself!
"We are pleased to inform you that you have earned membership in the prestigious Wizard's Guild."
There has never been a book like this before. In the first part, you learn the twenty-two closely guarded secrets to becoming a Wizard. In the second part, you get to test your new knowledge in the "Wizard's Adventure," an interactive magical game. Crack the code at the end of the adventure, and you will be worthy of membership in the Wizard's Guild.
Those who can meet the challenge will receive, by mail, a package from Wizard Grand Master Cornelius Rumstuckle. Inside you will find your Wizard Guild documents: a magical dedication ritual, a cipher to use for secret communications with other Wizards, PLUS your official certificate of "Wizard in the First Degree".
About the author
Cornelius Rumstuckle is a fourth-generation Wizard with Old World roots.
Cornelius learned the magical arts partly from his grandmother and partly from a mysterious tome entitled the Book of Former Misunderstandings bequeathed to him by his great-grandfather, the renowned founder of the Wizards' Guild, Eliphas O'Shaughnessey Levi of Prague. Cornelius joined the Wizards' Guild in 1514 and was destined to become its youngest-ever president seventy-eight years later. Today, Cornelius works under an assumed name as a schoolteacher in Minnesota. Cornelius is not related to the Rumstuckles of Vermont.

Cunningham's Encyclopedia Of Magical Herbs (Click, for more info)
By Scott Cunningham
Do you work magic with herbs? Do you use them in spells, for talismans or simply use their innate powers? If you don't have Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs, you need to get it right away. This book has become a classic in its field. Paul Beyerl, a respected author on herbs calls it "...an essential reference book by students of herbalism and magick alike ... Scott's personable charm touches every page... I highly recommend this book." And Jeanne Rose, famous author of books on herbs and developer of an herbal course says "I love books like this ... It is accessible, easy to read, and with its encompassing index (all too often neglected), simple to use as well." Over 200,000 people already have this book and use
In this edition of the book (it's expanded and revised on the 15th
anniversary of original publication) you will find the magical properties and folklore of over 400 herbs! You'll also find lists of herbs based on their magical powers, their genders, their planetary rulers, and more.
Perhaps the most important list is the folk name cross-reference. With that information, when a recipe calls for "bramble, " you'll know it needs blackberry. Or if the magic calls for "enebro," you'll know you that is juniper.
The main part of this book is the listings of the herbs. Each one includes names, associations, and magical attributions. Violets can be used for protection, luck, love, and more. Primrose is for protection and love. Garlic is for protection, healing, exorcism, lust, and prevention of theft.
This book is considered a classic. It is probably consulted more than any other book on this subject. If you want to learn the secrets of magical herbs, this book is a must!

The Golden Dawn (Click, for more info)
by Israel Regardie
The Golden Dawn by Israel Regardie is considered by many to be the book that started the modern occult movement. The original Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, which started in the late 1800s, borrowed from a wide variety of occult traditions • Kabalah, Tarot, Geomancy, Enochian Magic, Theosophy, Freemasonry, Paganism, Astrology, and many more, and created a unique and viable system of magic that is still being practiced today. Almost every contemporary occult writer and modern group has been influenced, directly or indirectly, by the Order or its members, making The Golden Dawn one of the most influential occult books of the past 100 years.
The book is divided into several basic sections. First are the knowledge lectures, where you will learn the basics of the Kabalah, symbolism, meditation, geomancy and more. This is followed by the rituals of the Outer Order, consisting of five initiation rituals into the degrees of the Golden Dawn.
The next section covers the rituals of the Inner Order including two
initiation rituals, equinox ceremonies, and more. Then you will learn the basic rituals of magic and the construction, consecration, and means of using the magical tools. Once you have these you can go on to evocation rituals, talismans, and invocations.
The book gives explanations for how to design talismans, do skrying and travel on the astral plane. You will also learn geomancy, the Tarot, and Enochian magic.

The Magician's Workbook: Practicing the Rituals of the
Western Tradition (Click, for picture)
by: Donald Tyson
The Magician's Workbook has a single purpose: to present a graded and integrated series of practical exercises designed to teach the essentials of ritual magic.
It contains no history or theory-just forty exercises that anyone can do without prior training, special tools, or costly materials. The content ranges from simple mental exercises to complete rituals that form templates for future work in Western magic.
These exercises do not merely teach-they transform. When practiced
regularly, they cause changes in the body, brain, perceptions, emotions, and the will-changes necessary for the successful working of magic in any of its ancient or modern traditions.
A complete basic training manual for serious beginners who want to start performing ritual magic, rather than just reading about it. Presents a progressive, forty-week schedule of daily study that fully integrates inner mental conditioning with external movements, gestures, and words.
Enables students to go on to study the Golden Dawn system in greater depth, or move forward with confidence to any other form of Western magic.

Practical Candleburning Rituals (Click, for picture)
by Raymond Buckland
Perhaps the most important word in the title of Raymond Buckland's
Practical Candleburning Rituals is the first word: practical. The magic you will learn from this book is not only simple to learn and easy to do, it is also practical - very practical. It covers virtually anything you might want to use magic to obtain.
Do you need to know how to stop your lover from straying? You'll find a ritual here.
Do you want a ritual to honor the dead or see into your future? How about improving your health or mending an unhappy marriage? Need money?
Want to overcome a bad habit or find love? You'll find rituals for these and many more purposes in this book.
Because these rituals are so straightforward, there is another great advantage to this book. Once you have learned how to do the rituals in this book it will be obvious that you can easily design your own! In this way you can use candleburning to cover even more specific situations.
In the current, third edition of the book, Buckland also answers the question of what to do if you don't have access to candles. There is an entire section on rituals without candles. Now, no matter what your needs, you have no excuse not to do magic.
How good is this book? Ed Fitch, author of Magical Rites from the Crystal Well, Rites of Odin and others says that this "has been the first book that one consults and the standard against which all others must be judged."
Marion Zimmer Bradley, author of The Mists of Avalon, says "I've had this book on my shelf for years. It's a real cornerstone."
But the most important proof of its value is that over 335,000 people use this book!
Many of them are just like you and who have learned to use candleburning rituals to aid them. Shouldn't you be one of those people, too?

Practical Solitary Magic (Click, for picture)
By Nancy B. Watson
Many students of magic don't want to be tied to a particular group or
tradition, but prefer to search, experiment, and grow on their own. Here, at last, is an eminently sane and readable handbook that gives not only the how, but the why and wherefore, of the materials and methods of the solitary magician.
Watson combines a concise introduction to the psychology and ethics of magic with a thorough treatment of its mechanisms. In a lively style, enhanced by personal anecdote and thoughtful insight, she initiates novices into the rudiments of ritual and guides them in their first steps down the magical path.
Oracle divination, numerology, magical incantation, visualization, clearing, prayer, elementals, archetypesgod-forms, all come to life with Watson's pragmatic analysis. Watson's clear narrative and vivid imagery illuminate all the corners of her magical mansion with the light of common sense and folk history. Not only will you enjoy your guided tour, you'll be tempted to take up residence there.
My personal vote: Must have reference: This is great for the beginner, but also has much to be gleaned for the intermediate, as well.

The Foundation Book Of Western Occultism
by Henry Cornelius Aggripa
Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy is the single most important text in the history of Western occultism. Occultists have drawn upon it for five centuries, although they rarely give it credit. First published in Latin in 1531 and translated into English in 1651, it has never been reprinted in its entirety since. Photocopies are hard to find and very expensive. Now, for the first time in 500 years, Three Books of Occult Philosophy will be presented as Agrippa intended. Over 900 pages!

By Scott Cunningham
Wicca is a book of life, and how to live magically, spiritually, and wholly attuned with Nature. Cunningham presents Wicca as it is today: a gentle, Earth-oriented religion dedicated to the Goddess and God. This book fulfills a need for a practical guide to solitary Wicca-a need which no previous book has fulfilled.
