Rustic Pentacle Or Pentagram
The Pentagram is a symbol of a star encased in a circle. Always with 5 points (one pointing upward), each has its own meaning. In Witchcraft, the upward point of the star is representative of the spirit. The other four points all represent an element; earth, air, fire, and water. All these things contribute to life and are a part of each of us. All the elements and the spirit are within the circle to symbolize that everything is connected.

Known as boats, incense sleds, or ashcatchers, these Pentacle incense burners are about 10 inches long. We usually have these in several styles, besides the Rustic Pentacle. All are one single color, one piece of wood and most have brass inlaid designs.

Pentacle Incense Burner Details:
A rather rustic Pentacle adorns this wooden incense sled ashcatcher. The wood appears to be a dark oak or mango wood. The Pentagram is tacked on, rather than inlaid, which gives a real hand made look to it!  It is meant to burn incense sticks. The Pentagram burner is about 10" long x 1 1/2" wide. These incense burners are made individually, in India, so this measurement can vary slightly from burner to burner.

The Wicca Pentacle incense burner is made from one piece of wood. It has 2 holes at the top, to hold the incense sticks.  There is a slight groove that runs along the center of the incense burner, to help catch the ashes. There may also be visible grain color differences, which is natural to most products made from wood.

Our Pentacle incense burners either come packaged in a soft plastic sleeve, or wrapped in tissue paper, or both. These make great gifts for your favorite Hippy, excellent stocking stuffers, party favors, and more!

Second, Indian incense is normally shorter than American dipped incense sticks. When burning longer sticks, just break off a small piece of the wood end of the incense stick, and voila, the perfect fit. It is very easy and you can even snip them with a scissor, fast!
