Q - How long before my order ships?
A - Most orders shipping via UPS are shipped within 2-4 business days if everything is in stock. Exceptions are orders that will be paid by mail, Free or Flat Shipping Rate orders, and orders where we have questions that need to be answered (by you) before we can ship.
Free and Flat shipping orders leave our store as time permits. Please allow up to 21 days.
Orders shipping to APO/FPO/AK/HI/PR ship as a unit, once every 2 weeks.
Mail orders will be shipped only after the payment has cleared our bank. Please allow 7-14 business days for clearance, once payment has been received.

Q - What are business days?
A - Business days are the days our offices are open. These do not include weekends, holidays, & vacations.

Q - What is Flat Rate shipping?
A - Flat Rate shipping is a recent addition to shipping options. If your order is shipping to mainland USA, you may see the flat rate option at checkout. The flat rate is based on the dollar amount of your purchase and ranges from $8.50, down to $3.00 for purchases of $60.00 or more. Please note that while the flat rate is usually less expensive than UPS, flat rate orders are not shipped daily. This allows you a less expensive option and we can ship as time permits.

Q- I ordered something by Next Day Air. Will it be delivered tomorrow?
A - Next Day means the next business day after the order ships, not the day you place your order. If the order ships on a Friday, the next business day is normally Monday. However, if you place your order on a Friday, your order may not ship until Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how busy we are. While rush orders are always given priority, we cannot guarantee the shipping date.

Q - I need this item by a certain date. Can you get it here in time?
We understand that time can be of the essence. If you let us know about your deadline in the "special comments" section of the checkout form, we will notify you, by email, if there will be a problem meeting your deadline, or not. Of course, you can always email us and ask, before hand, if you wish.
Please do not choose the free or flat rate shipping option if you are in a hurry. You will be disappointed..

Q-How much will shipping cost?
Shipping costs will vary with delivery address. Minimum shipping to the USA will vary from about $7.85 to $8.50. Each additional pound of weight is only about 30-55 cents more.
The various shipping options (and costs) to your delivery address will be shown, when you visit the shipping page during checkout.

Q-I only ordered a pack of incense. Why is shipping so high?
Due to consistent problems we experienced shipping through the postal service, most orders addressed to the Continental USA are shipped via United Parcel Service(UPS). UPS charges a one pound minimum, even if we are shipping a feather. Fortunately, each additional pound of weight is only about 30-50 cents more, so the more you buy, the better the shipping cost!
Also, please note that the weight in your order includes the box and packaging.

Q-I have my own account with UPS/FedEx/Etc. Can you bill to my account?
Unfortunately, no. We understand that your company may offer better rates, but all orders must be shipping on our account. Also, the only options available are those that show for your address, during the checkout process.

Q-What if none of the shipping options are what I am looking for?
No problem! Nothing is final until you submit your order on the final checkout page. You can close your browser any time before that and the order will never be completed.
To lower overall shipping costs, try adding a few items to your order that you might be planning to order later, or wait until you can order them all at one time. Combining 2-3 smaller orders will save you much on shipping costs. Also, if you are "signed in" as a member, all of the items will remain in your cart for later, if you don't order now.

Q - How do can I receive free shipping?
All orders to the USA, with a merchandise total over $85.00, are eligible for free shipping.

Unfortunately, no. Also, please allow a longer delivery time for orders that are shipped for free.

Q - What is transit time?
A - Transit time is the number of business days it takes for your order to be delivered by UPS, after it has shipped. UPS Transit times are shown on the shipping page, during checkout.

Q - What if my order is received damaged?
A - All orders are packed very carefully, to avoid possible damage. However, it can happen and here is what you must do.
First, If the driver is there and the box is damaged, tell them to log the box as "damaged". This can make an insurance claim much easier. If the driver is not there, inspect the box immediately and contact us if the contents are damaged. Also you MUST save all contents, boxes, and packing material, for the carrier to inspect, if necessary. Failure to do this will void any insurance on the order and we may not be able to offer you replacements.
Once you have contacted Grandpa's, we will tell you how to proceed. You may also opt to contact UPS, yourselves, but they will most likely need information only we can provide.
