We are happy to accept the return of most items purchased from our store. We'll even pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error! If you will follow the information and instructions, given below, we will try to make your return as painless as possible.
Grandpa's General Store is located in the state of Wisconsin and is bound by the laws of this state. This is our return policy and we feel it is fair. Please read the following, carefully, as it is legal, and it may vary from your own state laws considerably.
How To Return An Order
USA ORDERS - Just email us within 10 days of delivery with your name and order number, stating what items you would like to return to Grandpa's. We will send you a return authorization number and instructions, via email.
You will have 30 days to return the order, once we send you return instructions. All items must be received in new unused condition.
Because of the nature of returns and our need for records of communications, all returns are handled via email. You must contact us for a return authorization. All returns received without authorization, or in less than perfect condition, will be donated or destroyed and will not be credited.
Other Important Return Information
You must contact us within 10 days of delivery for a return authorization. You then have 30 additional days to return the items to us. Failure to return items within time limitations will void your credit, regardless of whether you have returned the items or not.
We want you to be happy and most items are returnable. However, the following items may not be returned:
- Crystal Balls and Gemstones
- All consumables including, but not limited to: perfumes, shampoo, edibles, etc.
- Any items that were factory sealed or shrink wrapped, but have been opened.
- Special Orders, bargain items, grab bags, and items not purchased from Grandpa's.
If your refund is less than $25.00 or you paid by check/money order, you will receive a merchandise credit from Grandpa's, valid for one year and easy to redeem!
If you paid by credit card and the refund is for more than $25.00, we will be happy to refund your credit card.
Credits on discounts: your credit will be based on the price you paid.
Incorrect Items Were Received By You
Just contact us within 10 days of delivery. We will email you with return instructions. If it was our error, we will even pay for return shipping, or we will credit you for the item, at our discretion. Unfortunately, we cannot exchange one item for another, on this type of return. You will need to reorder.
We are happy to refund return shipping where we have made an error, sent the wrong items, and ask for their return. Original shipping charges are refundable if the entire order was our error and we do not send replacements. All other shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
There are no restocking fees for returns, unless this was a special order item and we agreed to allow you to return. You would have been notified of this fee, in advance.
We pack carefully and damaged items are extremely rare. However, if you do receive a damaged parcel, please visit, our shipping center , for instructions.
