It may also be known as a magical grimoire or pagan diary. These are all personal choices and may differ, from path to path. It is normally one of the very first tools a witch will acquire. Large Black Book Of Shadows Details:
A quality textured black covered book, measuring about 8 1/2 by 11 inches and has about 256 pages. This blank Book of Shadows has a hardcover, is black in color, and is filled with blank unlined pages, inside. The pages are acid free and of archival quality, which means they will last many years longer, not easily becoming brittle or turning yellow, as some others do.

The words, Book of Shadows, are impressed into the front cover in gold AND on the spine. As in any other bound book, you will not be able to change the order of your pages, so careful consideration of how you want your book arranged should be done before you fill it in.

Included with each book, is a sheet describing the ways of consecrating your Book of Shadows for ritual use, and for proper care of your Book. These Blank Book of Shadows are very well made and durable, with a textured black hardcover surface similar to leather.
