Although we are a friendly mom and pop store, we feel these conditions are necessary for the protection of our visitors and for ourselves.

Terms Of Use

By using this site, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, you should discontinue use of this site and contact our customer service. If you still are unhappy, you should discontinue use this site.  We reserve the right to change these conditions at any time, so please check for changes when you use the site. Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes to these conditions means that you accept those changes.

 

LOCALITY
These terms and conditions and your use of our web site are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA. This web site and our terms and conditions have been designed for use within the United States. While we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United States, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this web site or the placing of any order through this web site from outside the USA complies with any applicable non-US laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.

 

ORDERING RESTRICTIONS

A contract between the customer and Grandpa's General Store for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and shipped (at which point the buyers credit card will be charged for the value of the goods shipped, plus shipping costs where appropriate), and the goods have been received. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights. 
By placing an order at Grandpa's: You claim to be the authorized cardholder, if purchasing with a credit card, and also authorize Grandpa's to charge your card for the amount shown on the checkout confirmation page.
Grandpa's General Store does sell products for children, but it sells them to adults. By placing an order at Grandpa's: You claim that you are over 18 years of age.

PAYMENTS
All prices quoted on this web site are quoted in US Dollars. All deliveries to Wisconsin addresses are subject to Wisconsin sales tax. You will be advised of any sales tax prior to submitting your order.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
You agree that email will be our primary form of customer service. If we have difficulty processing your order, we will contact you via email. If we do not receive a reply to our request for assistance, your order may be canceled. This includes all orders, rush service, or otherwise.

DELIVERY/SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated online. You are advised of your actual cost prior to submitting your order and agree to pay the costs. 
In rare cases, prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. This means the price confirmed after placing the order may be different to that charged at delivery.
This is especially due to inaccurate delivery address information given to us by the customer and additional delivery charges due "address corrections". Every effort is made to ensure that this will not happen. If there is an address correction, due to an error on the customer's part, a charge will be added to your order value, at cost, and you agree to pay this charge.
UPS currently charges $5.00 for an address correction. This can include such errors as incorrect street number, missing apartment numbers, floor numbers, or using blvd. instead of ave., etc. Please double check all delivery information, to avoid extra costs.

UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS
A shipping notice is sent via email, at the time the order is shipped. The notice will give a scheduled delivery date.  If no one is home, the carrier will leave a notice of delivery attempt with instructions for re-delivery. Normally, several attempts will be made before an order is returned to us, as undeliverable. If an order is returned to us as undeliverable, we will issue a store credit for the value of the order minus delivery charges.

SPECIAL OFFERS/FREE GIFTS
Please note that our special offers are valid on all orders meeting the requirements, excluding shipping and packaging costs. The offers are subject to availability only, as stocks may be limited.

RETURNS POLICY
You agree not to return any item, until you have received a return authorization from Customer Service and have complied with our return policy. We want you to be happy with your shopping experience. Please read our full returns policy here.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
At Grandpa's, we attempt to be as accurate as possible and we want you to be happy with your purchase. However, we cannot not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by us is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

You agree that all items and articles, either spiritual or magical in nature, are presented or sold as curios only. The owners and staff at Grandpa's General Store make no claims as to the effectiveness of the products sold, or to the validity or effectiveness of any of the magickal/metaphysical information presented. All body care information (aromatherapy/herbal/etc) is provided for educational reference purposes only, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any disease. PRICING ERRORS
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will do one of the following:
If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
