Wild Cherry Bark, cut & sift-Prunus serotina-Wild Cherry relates to the planet Venus, the element of Water, and is feminine in nature. In magick, it is used for love and divination.

We sprinkle damp bark over hot coals on the BBQ. It adds a wonderful wood smoked flavor to chicken and the smoke always makes us feel great! Tea from the bark has been used for colds other respiratory ailments, and the bark is simmered slowly to make a fine cough syrup. Wild cherry bark should not be boiled, as it loses its medicinal qualities.

A Simple Love Incense:
To attract a new love, burn wild cherry bark over incense charcoal. Before smoldering, hold the incense in your strongest hand and concentrate on your goal. Then place a small amount 1/4-1/2 tsp. on a hot charcoal block. As the wood smolders, think about how the smoke is going out to manifest your goal and how that makes you feel. Repeat, as needed.
Note: This same incense may be used to strengthen a current love bond, simply by changing the intent and picturing yourself absorbing the loving qualities of the wild cherry bark.
