There is even a section on the dangers of cursing, as it can rebound on the person who is doing the cursing. There is also a rather interesting read about the voodoo devil, making pacts, and how it is different than the Christian devil.

All in all, I found the book a very interesting read into the basics of Voodoo / hoodoo, and the interesting path of a hoodoo doktor. The legends and stories are lots of fun, a little scary, and there are lots of practical spells for just about everything.

In my opinion, if you have an open mind and love learning about different magical paths, you will enjoy reading this book. It even comes with a free "lucky mojo" voodoo doll!
