Whole Abalone Shells

This is a fabulous abalone shell incense burner! It can be used for charcoal, smudging, cones, powders, herbs, or by itself. You can also do what my mom used to, and use it for a fancy soap dish. Abalone shells also make great change dishes, or mens valets, for the guy who comes home with tons of stuff in his pockets. ~

Abalone Shell Incense Burner Details:
These are all natural abalone shells. The shell is about 4-6 inches across and lengths will be longer. The abalone shells will vary in size and color with current supply.

Here is a photo of the abalone shells, to give you an idea of the variety of color you may expect in your burner. Please note the dark color in the center of the lower picture. These are a variety of Tiger abalone and this is not a burn mark, but where the abalone attaches to its shell. On the top picture, you can see the same area is shown in silver. It just depends on the variety of abalone shells available. The dark areas can normally be removed with a little scrubbing if they trouble you.

We recommend using sea salt or incense burner sand in your abalone burner, to avoid scorching of the shell.
